Job Description
Treasury analysts manage and analyze an organization’s financial activity. They review financial transactions, examine cash flow, assess assets and liabilities, prepare treasury reports, and create financial forecasts and management strategies.
Job Responsibilities
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliation for Majid Al Futtaim Holding treasury accounts.
- Work closely with Back Office Manager and Majid Al Futtaim Holding Finance to resolve any unreconciled item.
- Cash reporting through MT940: Daily review of MT940 statements for all accounts across the group.
- Identify any missing statements, follow up with Banks, Vendor or/and Opcos as appropriate to ensure availability.
- Prepare periodic treasury reports as assigned.
- Provide support on ad hoc assignments/projects as appropriate.
- Act as back up for back office operations manager.
Job Requirements
- Degree holders in Accounting/ Finance or similar academic discipline;
- Preferably 1-2 years working experience within corporate treasury department,
- Membership or student membership of ACT/CFA will be an advantage;
- Strong analytical and coordination skill;
- Proactive, well-organized and ready to assume responsibilities;
- Attentive to details and good at prioritizing jobs under tight timeframe;
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
- Excellent skills in written and oral English
