Job Description

The core responsibility is to act as a strategic partner to the Business Leaders in the region, exercising judgement to develop solutions and programmes across a Business Group or multiple Business Groups that are relevant to the local context and address local challenges or regulatory risks and Region needs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provides trusted advice and coaching to senior Business Leaders in the region.
  • Uses contextual and industry knowledge, data analytics to partner with business leaders to develop actions to build an inclusive, high performance culture , increase staff wellbeing and engagement and achieve business objectives.
  • Identifies and delivers initiatives that build business resilience and supports the identification, development and retention of key talent aligned with business need.
  • Ensures that organisation development plans are built on strong organisation design principles and practices.
  • Scopes, plans, directs and delivers various people projects and programs.
  • Collaborates with People team and other stakeholders to ensure the on time delivery of projects.
  • Collaborates with the Centres of Excellence and EMEA people team to deliver programmes, ensuring alignment with the region business objectives.
  • Ensures that employee relations matters and change programmes are delivered in line with corporate values and mitigates financial and reputational risk.
  • Researches and introduces best practices into the team to ensure compliance and improve our offering to the business.
  • Shares ideas and best practices amongst the people team to eliminate duplication and encourage innovation.
  • Monitors service level and quality to their business leaders, collaborating with the COEs and other people team members to ensure service consistently meets expectations

Job Requirements

  • Proven business partnering experience, preferably in a professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in the effective delivery of people advice and strong business partner orientation.
  • Broad foundational knowledge of all aspects of HR.
  • Good knowledge of employment law and handling complex employee relations matters.
  • Experience of managing projects at a region level across a broad range of areas and to deliver projects on time.
  • Good knowledge of best practice in change management and organisation design.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, intercultural and networking skills.
  • Ability to coach and guide business leaders to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Effective internal stakeholder engagement ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities.
  • Sound judgement, business acumen and decisiveness.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability and confidence to effectively manage ambiguity;
