Job Responsibilities
- Responsible to manage the CMDB for all International services
- Responsible to evaluates the accuracy of CI in the CMDB tool; Assists auditors in the review of process compliance; Enforces policies; Ensures interfaces take place with other ITSM processes, internal functions
- Responsible to fix all CMDB related audit points within agreed timelines
- Proven experience in defining / enhancing the below Configuration Management key practices using Industry standards and best practices:
- Establish and maintain a configuration model
- Establish and maintain a configuration repository and baseline
- Maintain and control configuration items by comparing with relevant monitoring tools
- Produce status and configuration reports to the relevant stakeholders
- Verify and review integrity of the configuration repository
- Responsible to coordinate initial identification of CIs within the sections of IT and other group functions and drive to eliminate the manual feed as much as possible
- Responsible to Identify and fix the gaps in the configuration management process based on audits / assessments
- Responsible to provide the CMDB data to facilitate Impact Assessment for IM & CRs and to ensure that implemented Changes are authorized
- Responsible for all new CIs are added to the database and regular housekeeping of the CM database
- Responsible to signals and reports any deviation detected in IT from the status and/or composition as registered in the CMDB
- Good experience with ServiceNow and HP uCMDB tools
Job Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience, Master’s preferred
- ITIL Certification and/or COBIT Certification is must
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- Minimum 5 yrs. of experience in Configuration Management, Reporting Analysis and Analytics, 3+ years of project management responsibilities.
- Extensive knowledge of dashboards/ reporting and communication theory/practice and the ability to apply it.
- Strong knowledge of the aligned line of business in a bank, KPI Reporting and Management
- Awareness of project management methodologies, business process management skills in a cross-functional environment
