Job Description

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for the company and you will provide administrative support. You will handle the flow of people through the business and ensure that all receptionist responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the reception area to ensure that it is clean and tidy and kept up to a professional standard
  • Answering and distribution of calls / messages in a timely and professional manner
  • Meeting & greeting external visitors in a professional and polite manner
  • Distribution of office post & courier deliveries
  • Scheduling of courier collections and deliveries
  • Reporting any maintenance issues to the concerned department
  • Responsible for office sundry replenishment, inc. stationery, refreshments and other items
  • Managing & implementing internal event calendar, from small initiatives to engagement activities
  • Updating the Café monitor with useful information
  • Managing meeting room booking system, including upkeep of meeting rooms

Job Requirements

  • A secondary education is required
  • Proven working experience in a front office handling receptionist responsibility
  • At least 2 years of experience within the UAE
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and using MAC
  • Fluent English
  • Solid communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Strong collaborative skills
  • Can perform under pressure and operate in a fast pace environment
  • A can-do and flexible approach
  • Customer service attitude
  • Friendly and well spoken
