Reviewing tender documents, scope of works, checking the feasibility for qualification, financial criteria, preparing presentations,risk matrix, information to top management to get approval for bidding.
1- Tender Manager
Job Type :- Full Time
Location:- Penang, Malaysia
Job Responsibilities
- To receive requests for pricing/quotations via our internal sales management system (Core Log) from Sales, Customer Service and/or Operations, on behalf of our customers and ensure competitive quotes are provided
- To ensure that all responses to customers are provided accurately within the agreed time frames
- To review on a regular basis our existing Quotations for House-and Sales accounts and renegotiate and/or update as required across all relevant systems/rate sheets
- To work in conjunction with Cluster Air Logistics Manager / Operations Manager to negotiate with Airlines for better rates and establishment of competitive solutions with Sales
- To ensure full utilization of our internal system for recording and generate quotes – “ KN Products & KN Freightnet”
- To act as a resource in problem solving and providing guidance for pricing staff, customer service and sales staff in relation to area of expertise and responsibility
- To act as a linkage and ensures smooth interaction between pricing staff and client base
Job Requirements
- Possess minimum Diploma in Transportation, Logistics or Supply Chain Management or equivalent
- Possess strong analytical and decision making skill.
- Strong communication skill with all level of people
- Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in Airfreight pricing or procurement.
- Able to work well in a fast-paced working environment
