Tax Analyst Job Description:
Specializes in reviewing tax liability and tax practices for a company. Maintains current knowledge of federal, state and local tax laws and codes; assists with company tax filings, monitors compliance with tax codes and identifies opportunities for tax savings.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide support in the preparation and validation of Tax returns.
- Provide support on ESR analysis and corporate tax implementation and other Tax compliance process.
- Prepare VAT returns for the group and its affiliations on a monthly basis, reconcile and consolidate.
- Validate sales and purchases details and other relevant tax documents.
- Coordinate with finance shared services for the invoices /documents for each VAT return.
- Validate Tax invoice format and compliances procedures prior to submission of VAT return.
- Validate the accuracy of the data shared by finance team and verify with GL and provide the reconciliation.
- Prepare tax summary guides, clarification and legislation issued by the Federal Tax Authority.
- Respond to the query raised by the finance team on timely basis.
- Reconciliation of final VAT return numbers with GL/TB .
- Ensure the VAT returns are submitted before the due date and follow up on the VAT payment.
- Provide training and workshop to the finance team.
Job Qualification/Experience/Skills:
- At least 2-3 years working for large groups in the region.
- CA/CPA/ACCA preferred
- Professional Communication (Written and Verbal).
- Expert in DCF Computation and Valuations
- Expert in Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT and Word).
- Should have experience in VAT requirements
