Sushi Chef Job Description:
Sushi chefs prepare sushi for restaurants, cafes, country clubs, hotels, and grocery stores. They use various fish-slicing and sushi-rolling techniques to prepare sushi dishes in accordance with established guidelines set out by their employers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure Quality, Speed and Accuracy in all food orders.
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance whilst you still follow all food safety procedures.
- Work with your teammates to make sure your kitchen is set-up for success
- Prepare and cook our customer’s meals to the highest standard every time. Attention to detail and recipe guidelines is essential when working in our kitchens
- You must be someone who leads by example, you don’t fold under pressure. In fact, you thrive in fast-paced environments.
- Poses, and be able to demonstrate comprehensive understanding of sushi types and sushi rolling techniques
- Understand the importance of maintaining high standards of product quality and cleanliness
Job Qualification/Experience/Skills:
- Previous experience of working as a Sushi Chef is a must
- Quick Service Restaurant background will be an advantage
- Currently based in the UAE
