Resort Manager Job Description:
Resort General Managers are responsible for the successful day-to-day operations and profitability of a holiday resort complex. GMs are in charge of all areas of a resort, and both the revenue and cost elements of a company’s income statement. They also oversee the resort’s marketing and sales functions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage budgets and analyse financial information
- Record and monitor accommodation statistics
- Manage recruitment and training of staff
- Organise and oversee building maintenance
- Oversee security of the property, staff and guests
- Deal with customer comments and issues
- Ensure licensing laws and other regulations are followed strictly.
Requirements/Experience/ Skills:
- 5 years of experience as a senior operator of an international and well-known luxury hotel or resort.
- Excellent communication skills
- excellent customer service skills
