Job Description:
Also known as travel clerks or reservationists, reservation agents provide booking and reservation services to customers. These services may include reserving hotel rooms, airline tickets, rental cars, or cruise cabins. They work with customers over the phone, in person, or via email and strive to provide excellent customer service.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensuring the smooth running of all Reservations operations.
- Liasing with Senior Managers/Sales and Marketing on optimising sales and revenue growth.
- Positioning, presentation and rate management on third party websites in consultation with the General Manager.
- Manage social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin.
- To ensure that all coming and outgoing room reservation requests are attended and handled as per the hotel standard procedures.
Job Requirements
- Outstanding experience in handling & supervising reservation inquiries in the hotel industry.
- Profound knowledge of attending to incoming and outgoing calls.
- Deep knowledge of maintaining cordial relations with all guests.
- Solid understanding of giving special treatment to VIP guests.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- English proficiency is a must. French and Arabic is a plus.
