Job Description:
Controls engineers perform a vital role in designing and developing systems for manufacturing operations. They may design layout, materials and information flow, or machine placement. They may also be responsible for increasing production efficiency by evaluating performance and proposing and implementing improvements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Interface with relevant depts. To obtain a thorough understanding of NOV products and how they are safely operated , tested and calibrated.
- Prepare Service Report and ARM/NOV document(s) /procedure(s) at the end of the job and summarize the job performed details to the customer.
- Train customers on the safe and proper operation of these products.
- Investigate reported Equipment /product Problems /NCRs and initiate corrective action Conduct field operational analysis and surveys creating reports recommending approvements and optimisation of existing and future equipment /products.
- Provide Information, reports, feedback, redline drawings to both customers and ARM / NOV appropriate departments so that correct records of all actions are understood and maintained.
- Complete and submit field service documentation in a timely manner
- Participate in NCR investigations
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned
- Good relationship with Client, Supplier & ARM/NOV global team members
- Comply with all ARM/NOV company QA and HSE policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or relevant work experience
- Technical/ functional knowledge
- Knowledge of NOV supplied Pressure C
- Control Equipment or industry equipment
- Good analytical skills with ability for problem solving
- Planning, including ability to plan and supervise workloads
