Job Description:
Piping designers develop designs and plans for piping systems and related plumbing infrastructures. They create models, drawings, and schematics, often in 2D and 3D formats using a variety of designing programs and tools.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide mechanical and piping and layout engineering knowledge, design, quality assurance and expertise as a member of the Company decommissioning team;
- Responsible for the mechanical, piping and layout related to decommissioning work schedule and related milestones;
- Responsible for updating drawings related to decommissioning of plant and pipework offshore, as part of the decommissioning team;
- Accountable for knowledge of and sharing previous lessons learned, capturing, and communicating current lessons learned to support review teams and future projects;
- Ensure the contractors’ layouts and design meet the Company’s standards;
- Ensure effective communication between the Design Team and Production Offshore, focusing in on key layout issues;
- Role model for conducting offshore surveys and reports;
- Ensure the Company’s designs consider major issues such as access, egress, operability, constructability and maintainability;
- Act as the Client Representative in the contractor’s reviews.
Job Requirements
- Expert User in 3D AutoCAD;
- Extensive Offshore survey experience.
- Ordinary National Certificate (ONC) or Higher National Certificates (HNC) in engineering or equivalent;
