Logistics Coordinator Job Description:
The Logistics Coordinator main responsibilities are to support the entire supply planning and logistics function: Fleet, warehouse, delivery, demand planning. A Logistics Coordinator requires excellent communication and negotiation skills. The candidate must have a great record-keeping ability and a customer-oriented approach as well as a well-diversified knowledge of supply management principles and practices.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor and Report Supply Chain operations, performance and expenses
- Track and coordinate export shipment documents and product arrival
- Communicate and coordinate with Government entities and websites for final product releases
- Communicate with Support Teams to validate, create and update system vendors
- Coordinate with Logistics Supervisors to obtain Supply Chain data
- Prepare accurate reports & presentations for Management
- Calculate projected Supply Chain expenses for financial provisions
- Keep logs and records of Supply Chain invoice submissions and monthly expenses
- Prepare and validate data for billing reports
- Prepare contracts and coordinate with Management and Legal Teams
- Carry out internal Vendor Contract processes as per policy procedures (Quotations, TPDD etc.)
- Communicate with vendors to negotiate mutually beneficial agreements
Job Requirements
- Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
- Detail-oriented, well organized with the ability to prioritize work in an efficient manner
- Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of SAP software
- Advance knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Visio
- Quick learner with strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
