Position– Lifeguard
Employment Type: Full Time / Permanent
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Base Currency: AED
Job Description:
As a Lifeguards monitor water conditions and guest behavior, enforcing safety rules and paying close attention to swimmer activities and behavior and also as a Lifeguards may issue warnings when a visitor is creating an unsafe environment and may determine when they need to ask a guest to leave. Lifeguards may also assist new swimmers to help them safely enjoy the water
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety of swimmers
- Rescue swimmers in danger of drowning and administer first aid
- Inspect facilities for cleanliness; complete general pool cleaning and maintenance duties at regular points throughout the shift
- Ensure swimmers follow safe swimming practices; enforce and adhere to pool rules and regulations
- Follow emergency action plan and procedures when required
- Enforce all rules in a professional manner
- Check pool chemicals and temperature
Job Skills and Qualifications
- First aid and CPR qualification and valid Lifeguard Certification.
- Excellent attention to detail
- High standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work in a consistently professional and helpful manner
- Previous experience in a similar environment
