The Initiatives Leader (IL) is a proactive, customer-focused, entrepreneurial individual responsible for scoping, leading, managing and driving major multi-functional project teams to design, deliver and implement business performance improvement solutions that bring lasting value to the organization.

1- Initiatives Lead
Job Type :- Full Time
Location:-Dubai, AE

Job Responsibilities

  • Research best practices within the industry, within the organization and elsewhere that could be of benefit to the organization
  • Identify proactively potential opportunities to engage in, based on the business impact and strategic relevance
  • Drive problem solving discussions with different stakeholders and executives to propose potential solutions
  • Monitor and direct the implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and work standards where applicable for the assigned initiative
  • Comply with all applicable local regulations
  • Create project plans and revise them as appropriate to meet organizational changing needs and requirements
  • Monitor and stay abreast of technological, legal and operational changes that affect the activities and work processes of the project and make recommendations for improvements and highlight innovations and requirement of bringing up initiatives from within
  • Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities
  • Maintain a cost control system throughout the project, providing regular financial updates to the Head of the Transformation Office
  • Develop governance framework to assure the progress of long-term projects
  • Review information related to operational projects and preparation of reports and dashboards on progress, achievements and project performance metrics
  • Monitor progress and minimize actual and potential delays to the project
  • Creating ad-hoc reports and presentations for management periodically and projects progress

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or relevant to the role
  • Master’s Degree in in Business Administration is preferred
  • Minimum 6 years working experience, preferably in consultancy
  • Minimum 2 years in the related managerial function
  • Preferably 2+ years in the retail business or closely related industry
