Define strategy for specific line of business at the Control Tower level and lead business operations to achieve short and long term financial and operational objectives (profitability, revenue, service levels and productivity) in line with overall business strategy, objectives, standards, and guidelines.
Knowledge of supply chain management and an understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods, dispatching orders, and tracking transportation vehicles. You should also be familiar with safety processes and legal regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction, priority setting, and decision-making for control tower .
- Oversee financial performance and documentation including budget vs. actuals, accruals, accuracy.
- Manage stakeholders and attend business reviews.
- Define line of business strategy at the Control Tower level in line with overall business strategy and objectives.
- Plan, organize and ensure effective business management and operations at the Control Tower level for a specific line of business.
- Assess and report Control Tower performance and recommend plans for improvement.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain Management, Materials Management, Economics, Industrial Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, Purchasing and Logistics Management or equivalent.
- A master’s degree in any of the above fields is preferred backed up with strong professional experience. (Preferable)
- 10+ years of experience in Supply chain Management, Transport & materials management, procurement, forecasting or planning, with at least 5 years of leadership experience
