Graphic Designer Job Description:
Graphic designers create visual communications such as adverts, branding, publicity materials and magazine layouts. Graphic designers (who may also be known as graphic artists) utilise graphic design skills to create media products such as magazines, labels, advertising and signage.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with all marketing and communications initiatives to support the resort, rooms, food and beverage, spa, recreation, special events activations
- Responsible for creating artworks for promotional and branding purposes in line with brand standards and templates while meeting the given deadline
- Preparing reports and presentations
- Coordinate with internal departments and external partners
Requirements/Experience/ Skills:
- Up to 2 years of working experience as a graphic designer, marketing support or similar role.
- Proficiency with Adobe design software and graphics editing tools (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) is essential; a portfolio is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power point) is essential
- A strong sense of aesthetics and understanding of visual design (layout, composition balance, colors & fonts)
- Passion for photography, video editing, animation, HTML, email/digital marketing, or web design is a plus
- A keen eye for details and quality
- Time management and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communications (written and verbal) skills
