Job Description:
A geographic information system (GIS) is a computer system for capturing, storing, checking, and displaying data related to positions on Earth’s surface. GIS can show many different kinds of data on one map, such as streets, buildings, and vegetation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Managing the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of GIS applications.
- Managing and reviewing the design consultant, contractor, and other stakeholders GIS submissions in accordance with program requirements, authority requirements, and contract deliverables.
- Ensuring GIS data submission quality levels and deadlines are met.
- Facilitating and supporting the integration of BIM and GIS applications.
- Interfacing and liaising with authorities and stakeholders regarding GIS and facilitating the GIS information exchange processes and procedures.
- Merging the portfolio/program-wide GIS data to a single source of truth.
- Advising and developing methods to leverage GIS data for new applications.
- Providing GIS-related technical guidance and assistance to project teams and stakeholders, if needed.
- Interfacing with different functions/departments for GIS requirements and opportunities.
Job Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent with professional work experience in the related subject
- You have excellent communication skills
