Financial Controller Job Description:
A Financial Controller is responsible for financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and internal control. A Financial Controller may also be responsible for financial reporting to management and the board of directors, as well as compliance with government regulations.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure financial operations compliance with USALI/IAS-IFRS/Management contracts.
- Ensure long-term/short-term financial health of hotel network: – monitor hotel cost in line with annual objectives to guarantee productivity.
- Follow-up periodic KPIs results vs. budget/rolling forecast.
- Provide owning BoD with relevant periodic information covering hotel performance analysis, exhaustive departmental expenditures and productivity assessment.
- Analyse business deficiencies and actively advice/challenge Hotel HOD’s in an expert mode.
- Propose towards profitability improvement – Team Management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance.
- Minimum of 3 years in the same role.
- Strong Knowledge of controls and implementation of controls.
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
