Job Description:
Design drafters use software applications to create a draft of an engineer’s or architect’s design. Their duties include gathering material and equipment specifications, ensuring drafts are up to building technique standards, and collaborating with team members.
Job Responsibilities
- Research, plan, propose reference design and system;
- Assist in conceptual design proposal Prepare design and layout that explains concept and basic functional characteristics of the system;
- Create CAD drawing, Collaborate with fellow designers and engineering;
- Ensure output meets technical requirement and local work instructions and is delivered within deadlines;
- Contribute in transfer of knowledge and best practices within designer team;
- Report work status in timely manner and adhere to BPMS and HSE guidelines;
- Reporting: Geomarket Eng MGR (SI, ME) LOF & Quo Eng
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5-year experience in CAD software (MicroStation and Unigraphics preferred);
- General knowledge of manufacturing processes is preferred;
- Demonstrate effective internal communication skills;
- Able to work independently, organized and multi-tasker in a fast-paced environment with focus on meeting tight deadlines.
