Document Controller Job Description:
A Document Controller is a professional who maintains organized and updated documents for a business using document management software, uploading or scanning paper documents, obtaining documents, and ensuring proper and secure storage.
Job Responsibilities:
- Managing the performance of the baseline schedule and maintenance.
- Collecting and interpreting schedule data and providing output to the programme and project teams.
- Monitoring actual performance against the schedule to identify delays and suitable mitigation measures.
- Interfacing with the project technical staff to define changes to schedules and identification of variances from the original plan.
- Identifying and evaluating associated schedule, and resource conflicts.
- Working closely with the contractors, evaluating their schedules, and actively managing the schedules with them to ensure a successful outcome.
- Managing the project master schedule in line with individual work package schedules prepared by contractors.
- Developing MIS reports.
- Having advanced planning software capability, constructability, logistics, and third-party interface skills.
- Developing and managing all pre-construction activities
