Customs Clearance Executive:

Job Description:
A customs clearance officer draws up the customs documents, verifies the accuracy of declared shipments and monitors compliance with customs regulations. He/She also takes care of drafting commission contracts and keeping relevant documents. Preparation of regular reports, monthly statements, etc.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepares bank release letter, shipping guarantee application for L/C and CAD shipments to have the shipping documents and go ahead with clearance process on time.
- Posts the shipping documents details database maintained in excel sheet and oracle, for tracking the shipment status.
- Submits the original shipping documents timely to the Customs so that they can verify the contents of the Bill of entry passed.
- Applies online though UAE Ministry of Economy website for the exemption of custom duty on import of
- Industrial raw material.Processes and Follows up the claim with insurance Company for the damaged items so that the concern business department is compensated accordingly.
- Receives Exit/Entry certificates from various business units in order to present it to customs and get the duty refunded on the goods which are re-exported.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree
- 2 to 3 years of relevant work
- Dedicated and Goal oriented
- Good communications Skills
- Good Computer Skills
- Fluent in Both English and Arabic Languages
- Well versed with import and export UAE customs formalities and knowledge on import and export bill of entry processing.
