Catering Assistant – Airlines Job Description:
The role is responsible to ensure data is accurate and available as per the needs of the business which includes enhancements to existing pipelines, enhancement to existing data models/reports.
Responsibilities:
- To transport food, bars, dry store and equipment from respective departments to requested location and maintain accurate and on time delivery of all catering related services to airlines / customers as per specification and standards.
- Good working knowledge on Galley planning /Assembly of various aircraft type and able to uplift the catering provisions on flight in a safe and secure manner in accordance with AVSEC , airport regulations guidelines
- Good working knowledge on hiloader marshalling / ramp procedure at tarmac
- To undertake and perform complete daily tasks assigned by Coordinators ensuring that relevant SOPs are followed and performed to the highest standards according to established procedures.
Follow instructions from Coordinator relating but not limited to hygiene, productivity and HACCP. - Awareness of all safety policies and processes for the role.
- To report any serious breaches of safety and hygiene rules that are observed during duty to the immediate supervisor.
- Ability to work long hours and shift duties , medically fit as involves manual handling
Requirements/Experience/ Skills:
- A minimum of one year as a catering assistant or equivalent within another airline catering organisation.
- A minimum of secondary level education.
