Mandarin Oriental Careers is Looking to Hire Following Staff – Barista Jobs at Mandarin Oriental Jumeira Hotel Dubai
An ideal candidate must have an experience working as a Barista in a luxury hotel and speak Arabic or European Language.
Job Description:
A Barista is a professional who makes and serves beverages such as coffee, tea and specialty beverages. They are responsible for taking customer orders and payments. They also clean and sanitize their work areas, seating areas and equipment/tools.
Job Responsibilities
- Have a good understanding of the outlet’s concept and food and beverage offerings and be able to verbally explain those to the guests.
- Assure that all beverages, such as coffee, teas in good order to be served.
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Selection of creative non-alcoholic drinks, coffee, espresso, blended coffee, teas and be able to garnish all drinks as per the given standards and explain their characteristics.
- Plan and present bar menu
- Assist the Bar Supervisor and manager to create new blended drinks for promotional activity and new menus.
- Assure that correct date labelling is always in place for all related products.
Job Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Good communication in both English & Arabic is required
- Previous experience in Hospitality industry
