Job Description
An Accountant helps businesses make critical financial decisions by collecting, tracking, and correcting the company’s finances. They are responsible for financial audits, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring financial records are accurate throughout the year.

Job Responsibilities
- Executing the closing and reconciliation of accounts and preparation of financial reports at Group Level.
- Executing the closing and reconciliation of accounts and preparation of financial reports at Group Level.
- Execution and consolidation of all ledgers and accounts on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis in timely and accurate matters.
- Reconcile Group balance sheet schedules and follow up with Departments and subsidiaries/ associates on outstanding issues and concerns.
- Preparation of the quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards.
- Provide support to internal and external auditors and other consultants/ stakeholders and promptly provide and clarify all queries raised.
- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure a smooth external Audit verification in accordance with statutory requirements and applicable international accounting standards.
- Handle special analyses such as financial analysis and cash flow forecasting.
- Handle the closing of subsidiaries maintained at the Group level.
- Assist in preparation and submission of other applicable internal and external reporting.
- Monitor and update of all accounts in system and databases.
- Monitor and update the all financial reports required.
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of experience of financial accounting and management accounting experience
- Experience of accounting in real estate or related industry or large organization with consolidation is preferred
- Bachelors degree in Accounting
- Professional accounting qualification e.g. CPA, CIMA, CA, ACCA is preferred
- Knowledge of and ability to apply international accounting standards
- Experience with Oracle ERP and Hyperion (preferred)
- Knowledge of and ability to adhere to internal controls
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
- Vigilant and detail oriented
- Strong analytical, problem solving, planning and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once
