Position– Airfreight Manager
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Base Currency: AED
Job Description:
Develop, implement and continuously enhance air freight forwarding operational procedures (import and export). Lead negotiation of rates and contracts with air carriers. Collaborate with sales functions to execute business plan targets. Build and maintain long term relations with clients, airlines and terminals.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor, evaluate and control operation processes
- Monitor performance and mentor staff whenever necessary
- Maintain relationships with airlines, suppliers, and authorities
- Monitor and maintain customer satisfaction focusing on key customers
- Manage department expenses, facilities, and resources
- Maintain overseas partner relationships with a view to facilitate major project business / event logistics
- Manage and coordinate operations of special project operations
- Conduct recruitment of staff with HR
- Maintain overseas agent relationships
Job Requirements
- Graduate, University degree
- UAE Driving License
- International freight forwarding market and operational knowledge
- Excellent English communication skills
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in a freight forwarding role, and proven management and performance measurement experience.
