Position– Regional Accountant
Job Type :- Full Time | Permanent
Location:- Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Base Currency: AED
Job Description:
An Accountant helps businesses make critical financial decisions by collecting, tracking, and correcting the company’s finances. They are responsible for financial audits, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring financial records are accurate throughout the year.
Job Responsibilities
- Tracking accounts payables aging and forecasting payments for cash flow forecasts.
- Perform bank & petty cash reconciliations and postings
- Preparing and recording inter company invoices and performing inter company reconciliations
- Preparing invoices for Clients based on project requirements and liaising with projects teams
- Recording cash receipts and preparing a summary for cash forecasting.
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining schedules for prepayments, amortizations, leave & gratuity, and other accounts.
- Preparing and posting month-end transactions.
- Support the Chief accountant in the preparation of audit schedules and documentation.
Job Requirements:
- Must have a Degree in accounting or finance
- Must have a minimum 5 years of experience in Finance/Accounting
- Experience working with Deltek or similar accounting systems is desirable but not essential.
