About Role

A national sales manager oversees the overall sales objectives, goals and revenue of all the teams and sales personnel they supervise. They may also manage other regional or division managers across the country. They often travel to manage their various teams and attend conferences to learn new sales methods.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop sales strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets for service and modernization/retrofit business
  • Carry out sales target setting and set pricing guidelines
  • Develop sales competences and resources
  • Build relationships with strategic customers, influencers, and key decision makers
  • Drive proactive engagement and solution selling with different customer segments
  • Identify risks and opportunities in the customer base, competitors, and market situation
  • Proactively manage the sales process and performance
  • Ensure results within orders, contracts, profitability, and market price development
  • Responsible for sales forecasting and reporting
  • High level responsibility for collections

Job Requirements

  • Engineering degree or relevant technical background
  • 15+ years of proven sales experience in a role leading sales managers across UAE working with construction sector, contractors and relevant customer segments
  • Service/Aftermarket sales and/or retrofit/modernization experience is a must
  • Candidates must be based in UAE or have strong knowledge within UAE market
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing sales strategies and growth initiatives
  • Ability to work effectively and collaborate at all levels and influence key decision-makers
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to assess processes, recommend and drive changes when needed
  • Comfortable with numbers: can lead performance by facts and numbers, rely on sales tools and analytics and understand the financial benefit we bring to the customer through smart pricing approach
  • Digital assertiveness: comfortable and excited about the opportunities KONE digital solutions can bring
  • Excellent English language skills
