Job Description
FMCG BDM is responsible to drive new business; achieving sales target; ensure all sales and fulfillment process are executed as per agreed time frame; implement sales plan and manage sales team.

Job Responsibilities
- Continuously review the market for new business opportunities within the FMCG, Food and Beverage segment
- Focus on growing the customer pipeline within this vertical to fill the contract logistics and cold store sites.
- Position Maersk as their advisor of choice
- Deepen and widen the relationships between Maersk and the customer through active stakeholder management across all relevant geographies and business divisions
- Pro-actively meet (potential) customers in order to obtain/maintain business
- Negotiate and finalize agreements on new services, pricing, service levels etc.
- Create and maintain visibility of sales pipeline and activity / results reporting
- Support operational implementation and handover to operations once the business has been landed
- Identify opportunities for additional product development and commercial positioning with new customers
- Ensure contracts and agreements for specific customer solutions are validated and signed off (service agreements, credit agreements, supplier contracts, etc.) as per corporate guidelines
- Initiating the development and implementation of new business solutions
- Sharing of best practices within the team / locations
Job Requirements
- Proven 10+ years in Business Development in UAE
- Strong commercial and technical background covering warehousing and cold storage solutions
- Track record for successful performance
- People with solution selling capability
