Job Description
An Accountant helps businesses make critical financial decisions by collecting, tracking, and correcting the company’s finances. They are responsible for financial audits, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring financial records are accurate throughout the year.

Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the duties of the accounting team including regular bookkeeping tasks.
- Coordinate for implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
- Support in monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Conduct the reconciliation of cash and inventory at multiple locations.
- Take over and improvise on the whole process of suppliers and payables management to improve the financial reporting efficiencies.
- Improve the lead time for the preparation and execution of certain administrative tasks including but not limited to LPO preparation, document signatures, supplier’s database management etc.
- Help with statutory filings as per UAE laws, especially VAT.
- Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit processes.
Job Requirements:
- Accounting qualification (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent)
- Knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles and practices
- Technical accounting skills
- Previous experience of general accounting (Desirable not mandatory)
- Basic IT Skills such as MS Excel, Word etc.
